Chicago SEO and Web Design Guide

Howdy Everybody!

My name is Konrad. I’m a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. I’m a freelance web designer and search engine optimization specialist in Chicago. I also head the SEO team at one of the web design companies in downtown Chicago.

I have started playing with web design back in Poland during my high-school years. I thought myself HTML by looking at source code of existing pages. After moving to Chicago, I took some web design classes in college and started offering web design services on freelance basis.

Soon enough my clients started asking questions about getting their sites ranked high in Google. I have had some experience in that already, because one of my first websites – about WFRP (Warhammer Fantasy Role Play) was laready ranking high in the search engines. The rankings were organic without any SEO on my part really, so I desided to do some research on the subject of Search Engine Optimization and add it to my freelance services – I have been doing SEO ever since.

After Graduating from Loyola, I found an agancy job in Chicago as an SEO engineer. There I learned the dark magic of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) management with Google AdWords, Yahoo! Marketing Solutions, and Microsoft AdCenter. After several months at the company, I’ve been promoted to the rank of Internet Marketing Director and that’s what I’m doing right now.
